Dr. Dehghan Niri honored by American Society for Nondestructive Testing

Civil Engineering Assistant Professor Ehsan Dehghan Niri was recently named 2017 American Society Nondestructive Testing Young Professional at their annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee and served as vice-chair of 27th ASNT Research Symposium. Dehghan Niri is the author of 17 scientific journal publications and 11 U.S. patents. His main research experience includes the development of advanced nondestructive evaluation and structural health monitoring methods based on ultrasound, acoustic emission, image processing and estimation theory. The American Society for Nondestructive Testing is the world’s largest technical society for nondestructive testing professionals and promotes the discipline of nondestructive testing as a profession and facilitates research and technology applications in the field.
