ReNUWIt Team honored with University Research Council Achievement Award
The ReNUWit team of Dr. Nirmala Khandan, Dr. Pei Xu, and Dr. Salim Bawazir has been selected as the recipients of the Team Award for the Seventeenth Annual University Research Council Awards for Exceptional Achievements in Creative Scholarly Activity. This team has authored over 60 ISI publications during the 6-year ReNUWIt period. The team’s lifetime publications have impressive impact in the field as reflected by the combined Google Scholar citation record of nearly 8,000. A monetary award of $2,000 will be presented to this team at the 2017 Fall Convocation in August by the office of the Vice President for Research. The Department of Civil Engineering thanks the ReNUWIt Team for their endeavors to enhance scholarly activity at New Mexico State University.
