As an Aggie

Michael’s favorite moment as an Aggie was when the NMSU football team beat UNM and UTEP in back-to-back weekends at Aggie Memorial Stadium. The stadium was electric, and it was a fun time to be an Aggie football fan.
After Graduation
Michael has worked as an engineering intern, a structural engineer, as president of a construction management firm, and as president of a structural engineering firm in the 23 years following graduation. He currently serves as the President of Stubbs Engineering, Inc, a firm he has led for eleven years. Stubbs Engineering has grown into three offices, providing services specializing in both the structural design of architectural projects and the means and method design for construction. Their projects span multiple states across the Southern United States. Michael’s favorite moments as a professional include completing projects that began as an image in his mind to watching the development of a young engineer under his mentorship.
