This is a great opportunity with several benefits including, but not limited to, bridge inspection certification, 6 months of on-site training under direct supervision by a professional engineer, $18/hour + per diem, and exposure to over 100 bridge structures throughout the state of New Mexico.  If interested, please e-mail your resume to the Program Coordinator, MaryLouise Pino, at your earliest convenience (you will also need to formally apply as instructed in the attached flyer).  You may also bring your resume in person to the bridge inspection office located in Room 217 in Hernandez Hall.

You should know that previous students who have completed the co-op program have been aggressively recruited and employed by top engineering companies throughout the country.  This is a one-of-a-kind program that relates to the broad field of forensic engineering (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forensic_engineering) and I strongly encourage you to apply.  Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  All my best and I look forward to receiving your application.
